Beef Stir Fry Recipe
Ingredients:
- 450g beef (flank steak or sirloin), thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- Cooked rice or noodles for serving
- Optional: sliced green onions or sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
- Marinate the beef:
In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 15-20 minutes.
- Prepare the vegetables:
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions, red bell pepper, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender but still crisp. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
- Cook the beef:
In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the marinated beef (reserve the marinade) and spread it out into a single layer. Let it cook without stirring for 1-2 minutes to allow a bit of caramelization, then stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through.
- Combine and finish:
Add the cooked vegetables back into the pan with the beef. Pour in the reserved marinade. Stir everything together and cook for an additional minute or until heated through.
- Serve:
Serve the beef stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
This dish is delicious and easy to make, and the Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce adds a wonderful umami taste to the beef and vegetables! Adjust the vegetables or add more spices if you like a bit more heat or variety in your stir-fry. Enjoy your meal!
